A dedicated public servant
in Carroll County for over 30 years
As prosecuting attorney, my primary responsibility is to fairly and impartially apply the law to all citizens of Carroll County.
Meet Tony
I began my public service in Carroll County in 1993, when I was appointed the county’s first public defender. This gave me valuable experience in trying cases of all types, including rape and murder, as well as writing appeals and arguing cases before the Arkansas Supreme Court.
I brought this experience to the Prosecuting Attorney’s office, prosecuting all felony cases in Carroll County, as well as representing the County in civil matters. With former State Senator Randy Laverty, I lobbied the legislature to establish and fund Carroll County’s Drug Court. And I’ve increased the size of the prosecutor’s office by adding two full-time deputy prosecutors.
I was born and raised in Northwest Arkansas, growing up near Gravette. I’m a lifelong Razorback fan (of course!). And I received my undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
I married my wife Amy Chafin Rogers in 1996. She’s also an Arkansas native, having grown up in Berryville. We live in Holiday Island, and Amy is a teacher at the Eureka Springs Middle School.
I believe the office of Prosecuting Attorney is first and foremost a public service.
My duty is to fairly and impartially apply the law to all citizens of Carroll County.
